Our team will be well represented in the two conferences that will take place in Leipzig in the next two weeks:
– the European Conference on Ecological Modelling (ECEM) will start next Monday, the 4th of September. Our head of the chair, Anna Cord, will be there, together with Flora Ihlow and Stephanie Roilo, who will also present biodiversity models developed for the BESTMAP project at the session “Environmental modelling for policy support – how to build bridges between two worlds” (5th of September, 14:00-16:00).
– the Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (GfÖ) will start the following week, on Tuesday 12th of September. Come around to meet Caterina Barrasso, Lisanne Hölting, Ryo Ogawa, Julian Wendler, and Anna Cord. They will present their work within the ScaDS.AI and ECO2SCAPE projects in the sessions “Automated monitoring methods and challenges” (13th of September, 14:00-16:00), “Landscape-scale biodiversity conservation 2” (13th of September, 16:30-18:30), “Biodiversity-enhancing measures in agricultural landscapes 2” (13th of September, 16:30-18:30), and “The Biodiversity Crisis – Focus on Agricultural Landscape 3” (14th of September, 14:00-16:00).
We are looking forward to chat about our research!
